First Quarter Summary:
MICDS started the scoring with a basket from #24) Lyndsay Parks to lead 2-0 with 7:30 left. Fort Zumwalt North went on a 6-0 run to make the score Zumwalt North 6-2 with 5:58 left. Zumwalt North’s #23) Dajah Robinson scored the next two baskets and #33) Rachel Pudlowski scored the other basket. MICDS #42) Jordyn Brooks hit one for two at the line. Zumwalt North’s #33) Pudlowski answered with a bucket to make it Zumwalt North 8-3 with 4:39 left in the first quarter. MICDS went on a 7-0 run to finish the quarter to make it MICDS 10-8 at the end of the first quarter. MICDS went on a 17-0 run with two free throws from #12) Raevyn Ferguson, three pointer from #24) Parks, one for two from the line by #42) Brooks, three pointer from #12) Ferguson, three point play from #30) Lauryn Hughes, basket by #34) Jessica Brooks, and to finish the run was a three pointer by #32) Work to make the score MICDS 29-10 with 1:30 left in the first half. Third Quarter Summary:
MICDS went on a 6-0 run to start the second half with a basket and two free throws by #30) Lauryn Hughes and a basket by #24) Parks to make the score 36-13 with 4:15 left in the third quarter. Fourth Quarter:
Zumwalt North’s #11) Nesslage started the fourth quarter scoring to make it MICDS 44-22 with 7:41 left. MICDS went on a 4-0 run with baskets by #34) Jessica Brooks and #12) Ferguson to make the score MICDS 48-22 with 5:09 left in the game. Zumwalt North finished the scoring with a 8-0 run  #11) Nesslage hit a three pointer, #15) Kenzie Lee, and #4) Mia Bellanca hit a three for the final score to be MICDS 48-30.
Game Summary:
Zumwalt North hanged on tough for a quarter and was only losing 10-8 . Zumwalt North had ten turnovers in the first half and MICDS scored 12 points off them. MICDS was six for eight from the line in the second quarter. Zumwalt North’s #33) Rachel Pudlowski got her third foul in the second quarter and had to sit. She did nothing right after that. She is usually tough and this is the first bad game I’ve seen her playing. Zumwalt North had 19 turnovers for the game and MICDS scored 19 points off them. MICDS only had six turnovers and Zumwalt North only scored five points off them and that was in the fourth quarter when the game was over. This game wasn’t as close as the score.
