Game Summary:
Westminster started the game with a 7-2 run with 6:11 left in the first quarter. MICDS gets a basket and Westminster scores the next four points to be leading 11-4 with 3:39 left in the first. MICDS answers with a 7-0 run to tie the score at 11 with 1:06 left. The two exchanged baskets to keep the score tied at 13 and that was the score after one quarter. Westminster had one turnover and no points scored off of them. MICDS had five turnovers and had six points scored off of them. The scoring was pretty balanced both teams.
The second quarter started with the teams exchanging baskets to keep it tied at 15 with 6:59 left in the half. The two teams didn’t score for 1:45 (6:59-5:14). Westminster fouled MICDS’ #3) Preston Buchanan  and he missed both free throws with 3.6 seconds left. Westminster’s #24) Webb took a half courter that wasn’t close. The final score MICDS 66-63. Westminster’s #24) Webb took the last six shots and scored five points.
Westminster had three turnovers and scored four points off of them, MICDS had three turnovers and two points scored off of them. Westminster’s #24) Steve Webb scored 13 points in the fourth quarter. Who ever won this game won the Metro League. MICDS has won the title three years in a row now.
