Carl Junction lost the lead with 4:09 left in the first quarter and never led again. They held it together in the first quarter with IWA leading 12-9. Team Summary:
Francis Howell Central started out slow and was winning 3-2 with 6:12 and that was the last lead they had. The only scored five points in the first quarter and committed six turnovers that turned into six Kirkwood points and was losing 11-5 after one quarter. They did better in the second quarter and caused five turnovers and turned into eight points of the total ten. The score at halftime Kirkwood 23-15.
