Team Summary:
Francis Howell Central started out slow and was winning 3-2 with 6:12 and that was the last lead they had. The only scored five points in the first quarter and committed six turnovers that turned into six Kirkwood points and was losing 11-5 after one quarter. They did better in the second quarter and caused five turnovers and turned into eight points of the total ten. The score at halftime Kirkwood 23-15. Kirkwood took the lead 4-3 with 5:32 left in the game and never was behind again. They started off slow but had a six point lead after one quarter 11-5. The second quarter they committed five turnovers and Central scored eight points off the turnovers but did gain a point and was winning 23-15 at the half. The third quarter they scored 11 points and Everett and Stewart scored nine of the total 11 points. The fourth quarter the division one prospects Everett and Stewart scored 13 of the 18 total points. The game was never in doubt. The next game is in JQH Center in Springfield, MO in the semifinals vs Liberty (KC) at 5:10pm.
