Team Summary:
McCluer has a prime time sophomore in #2) Jeremiah Johnson that scored 12 points in the fourth quarter. They never led but never gave up either. They had 13 turnovers and 16 points scored off the turnovers. They got the score within five points with 2:52 left and that would be the closest they got it in the fourth quarter but never gave up.
Jennings led start to finish and their lead increased in the first three quarters and they couldn’t hit their free throws in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter they went seven for 16 from the line and went six for 14 from the line in the last 2:17 of the game and the game would be out of reach if they could hit their free throws. They are very athletic and will face Liberty Tuesday night at Francis Howell Central at 7:45pm. Jennings will be the favorite to move on.
