Team Summary:
Duchesne started off fast and scored a third of their points in the first quarter and was leading 17-11 after one quarter and lost a point in the second quarter an was leading 27-22 at the break. The third quarter they committed four turnovers and five points scored off of them. Northwest hit the boards and inside player #4) Jamar Williams scored eight points in the third quarter and lost the lead and the score was Northwest 38-36 after three quarters. The fourth quarter the game slowed down and outscored Northwest 6-4 in the fourth to make the score tied at 42 at the end of regulation. The first overtime Duchesne scored first three times but Northwest answered everytime and the score was tied at 47 after one overtime. Northwest Academy started off slowly and was down 17-11 after one quarter and gained a point in the second quarter and was down 27-22 at the break. The third quarter they tightened up the defense and hit the boards harder and out scored Duchesne 16-9 and was up two points after three and #4) Jamar Williams scored eight points in the third quarter. The fourth quarter they slowed it down and both teams combined for 10 points with Duchesne scoring six points and at the end of regulation the score was tied at 42. Northwest never led but had an answer everytime Duchesne scored and was tied at 47 after one overtime. The second overtime they scored the first four points in the overtime and Duchesne could never get even and they had to foul and Northwest went for 7 for 8 from the line and won the game 60-51. They have a solid five.
