Team Summary:
Breese Central didn’t score in the first quarter because of the great defense of Marquette and was 0 for 10 from the field but was 0 for 7 from the arc. They didn’t have an answer for Marquette’s #25) Jake Hall in the first quarter and had eight points. The second quarter their defense tighten the screws and only allowed Marquette five points in the second quarter and was only down eight at half. The third quarter B. Central only scored five points in the third quarter. B. Central scored 15 points in the fourth quarter because #30) Thomas drove to the basketball and shot eight free throws and made seven of them and the team was 11 for 12 for the fourth quarter. They had a tough time with Marquette’s defense and only scored 19 points in the first three quarters. They were second best today.
