Parkway Central had 10 turnovers and four points scored off of them. From the field: 2pt: 12/33 36% 3pt: 6/13 46% FT: 3/9 33% and had 11 second chance points.
Team Summary:
Lafayette only scored 11 points in the first half and was 5 for 24 frrom the field 21%. They committed eight turnovers in the second quarter and only scored four points. I’m sure some of that was due to good defense but they have only have two options on offense. The second half they only put up 17 points for only 28 toatal points . You are not going to win many high school basketball games scoring 28 points.
Parkway Central plays great defense and kept them to 28 toatal points but on offense wasn’t much better than Lafayette. They had a 15 point halftime lead and only scored 19 points in the second half to win by 17. #10) DeAndre Campbell didn’t have his usual great fourth quarter and only had five points in that quarter. They did have a good point with #20) Jake Silvestri scoring 15 points for the game all threes and all shot in rhythm. They won but not a good offensive game but a great defensive game.
