First Quarter Summary:
Duchesne started the game with a 6-0 run that included two baskets by #23) Mitch Fairless (Duchesne 6-0  3:47). Whitfield answered with a 7-0 run that included a three by #4) Max Holton and a two by #5) Torrence Watson (Whitfield 7-6  1:04). Duchesne finished the quarter with a second chance basket by #23) Fairless to make the score Duchesne 8-7 after one quarter. Duchesne had one turnover and no points scored on it. From the field: 2pt: 4/7  3pt: 0/6  no FT and had four second chance points. Whitfield had four turnovers and four points scored off of them. Fourth Quarter Summary:

Whitfield follows with a 6-2 run included a three point play and a free throw by #5) Watson (Whitfield 43-40  :59.4). Duchesne’s #23) Fairless hits a free throw and Whitfield’s #5) Watson hits four free throws in a row and #23) Dimitri Margelis hits one of two free throws to make the final score Whitfield 48-41. Duchesne had three turnovers and eight points scored off of them. From the field: 2pt: 2/5  3pt: 2/9  FT: 1/3 and had five second chance points. Game Summary:
Duchesne had nine turnovers and 12 points scored off of them, From the field: 2pt: 14/28  50%  3pt: 3/21  14%  FT: 4/6  67% and had 11 second chance points.
Whitfield had seven turnover and six points scored off of them. From the field: 2pt: 10/16  63%  3pt: 5/17  29%  FT: 13/21  62% and didn’t have any second chance points.
Team Summary:
Duchesne did a pretty good job on Whitfield’s #5) Watson in the first half with him only scoring eight points in the first half. The bad side was that Duchesne’s #23) Mitch Fairless got his second foul with 4:54 left in the first half and didn’t get back in the game till the start of the second half. He is their best offensive option. Duchesne had a tough time shooting especially #25) Adam Moore 4/13 from the field and #12) Cooper Tune 1/8 from the field. They had some costly turnovers that turned into eight points for Whitfield. Duchesne chucked up nine threes and hit two in the fourth quarter. Duchesne had a solid effort but second best tonight.
Whitfield’s #5) Torrence Watson started off slow and scored eight points in the first half and picked it up in the second half and scored 15 in the second half to score a game high 23 points and was seven of eight from the line in the fourth quarter. They played good defense and only allowed 14 points in the first half. They got some big threes by #35) Aurelio Stucco in the fourth quarter and #4) Max Holton in the first half. They were 9 for 13 from the line in the fourth quarter. Good Win
