Team Summary:
Carbondale’s best player didn’t play The Ball State recruit #11) Kani Acree. They hung on tough the whole game and #10) Zanidrelle Johnson held Whitfield’s #5) Watson in check for most of the first half and held him to two points in the first quarter. They were down seven with 3:07 left in the fourth quarter and made up seven points to force overtime. This was a good matchup for both sides.

Whitfield wasn’t a one player show on offense tonight with four players in double figures. Carbondale did a fairly good job on #5) Watson early and #2) Ramsey and #35) Stucco helped with crucial baskets and threes. #0) Taylor did excellent job on the boards. This was a good all around game for Whitfield. Wouldn’t of needed overtime if they could of hit free throws in the last two minutes of regulation. #5) Watson took over in the overtime with seven points and blocked the last shot in overtime.
