Team Summary:
St. Mary’s looked exausted for most of the game. #1) Yuri Collins didn’t play for most of the second quarter and some of the third quarter and they are not the same team when he isn’t in there. This was their sixth game in seven days. They had 12 three point tries in the third quarter and made two of them and Duchesne went on a 14-0 run. They went inside and was stopped cold inside by Duchesne’s #25) Moore. They were beaten and beat by Duchesne.
Duchesne was off to a slow start with St. Mary’s starting the game with 8-0 run, They came back with a 10-2 run to be tied at 10 and was leading by two after one quarter. They were intiminated early and the longer they lasted ,the more they thought they could beat them. The third quarter they broke it open with a 14-0 run to take a 11 point lead and kept that 11 point lead after three quarters. They hung tough in the fourth quarter and won by 11 points. Duchesne played excellent defense inside especially #25) Adam Moore. They will move up from their #9 spot in the small schools.
