2017 St. Louis Metro High School Football III 10/02/2017
Large Schools:
1)(1) East St. Louis (5-1) beat a very good Belleville West team 32-26 this week. You can make a case for them playing the toughest schedule in the area. They lost to Louisiana powerhouse
2)(2) CBC (6-1) beat Jefferson City 42-15 this week. They played an OK schedule but loss to CBC (Memphis). They have two tough games left with Rockhurst and Vianney.
3)(3) Vianney (7-0) beat SLUH 48-7 this week. They played a very tough schedule. They beat some above average teams. They have a date with at CBC on 10/13.
4)(4) Eureka (7-0) beat McCluer North 57-0 this week. They have outscored their opponents 266-60. They have a date with Lindbergh on 10/6 at home.
5)(6) Lindbergh (7-0) beat Ritenour 46-42 in a classic. They beat Hazelwood Central that was their only loss. They play at (4) Eureka this Friday.
6)(5) Fort Zumwalt North (7-0) beat Liberty (Wentzville) 65-16. drops a spot because of weak schedule. They do have a good win against (10) Fort Zumwalt West
7)(7) Ritenour (6-1) loss to (5) Lindbergh on the road 46-42. They have a good wins in Webster Groves and Parkway North. They play a good Pattonville team this Friday 10/6.
8)(9) Hazelwood Central (6-1) beat a good Pattonville team 33-27 in an OT affair. Their only loss is to (5) Lindbergh.
9)(8) Kirkwood (5-1) beat Parkway South 27-23 this week. Their loss was to Pattonville and won a one quarter game against Parkway North. Strength of schedule not very good.
10)(10) Fort Zumwalt West (5-2) beat Francis Howell Central 49-0 this week. They have losses against Fort Zumwalt North and Eureka.
Small Schools:
1)(1) Trinity (6-0) went to Columbia and beat Father Tolton 71-12 this week. They have outscored their opponents 319-18 that included a forfeit win to DuBourg 13-0.
2)(2) Lutheran North (7-0) Priory forfeited to Lutheran North this week. They have outscored their opponents 378-81 including a forfeit to Priory 13-0. They played a tougher schedule than Trinity
3)(3) Highland (6-0) beat Civic Memorial 50-0 this week. They beat two big schools Alton and Belleville East and a very good Triad team. They have outscored opponents 275-86
4)(5) McCluer South/Berkeley (5-0) had a bye this week. They have outscored their opponents 226-34. They havent played anybody.
5)(8) Borgia (7-0) beat St. Charles West 48-17 this week. They have beaten St. Mary’s and the only team that has. They have outscored opponents 308-70
6)(6) Althoff (5-1) beat Marion 32-28 this week. They have played a tougher schedule than some of the others. They have one loss to Centralia Il which has only one loss .
7)(7) Cardinal Ritter (6-1) beat a bad DuBourg team 48-0 this week. They have one loss to Trinity by a 57-0 score. They have a date with St. Mary’s on 10/13
8)(10) St. Mary’s (6-1) beat St. Dominic 33-14 this week. They have a 37-7 loss to Borgia and that’s their only loss and play Cardinal Ritter on 10/13.
9)(4) Alton Marquette (5-1) loss to Taylorville this week by a 28-7 tally. They outscored their opponents before this weeks loss by 179-27 score.
10)(9) MICDS (5-2) beat Westminister 38-31 this week. They have played a very tough schedule. They have two losses against two undefeated teams.
