2017 St. Louis Metro High School Football Rankings II
Large Schools:
1) East St. Louis (4-1) played a really tough schedule. They lost to a Louisiana powerhouse. They beat Collinsville 80-7 this week.
2) CBC (5-1) lost to CBC (Memphis) really talented and have a real tough schedule left. They have a date with Vianney on 10/13. They beat SLUH 55-7 this week.
3) Vianney (6-0) undefeated beat some good ones and have a date with CBC on 10/13. They beat DeSmet 56-21 this week.
4) Eureka (6-0) played a tough schedule. Fort Zumwalt West has 2 losses Eureka and Fort Zumwalt North, Frances Howell has two losses Eureka and Fort Zumwalt West.Pattonville losses were to Eureka and Vianney. They beat Parkway South 38-0 this week.
5) Fort Zumwalt North (6-0) weaker schedule lands the Panthers at Number 5. They do have two good wins in Ladue and Fort Zumwalt West. They have a test in Timberland on 10/13. They beat Holt 56-20 this week.
6) Lindbergh (6-0) they have good wins against Jackson and Hazzelwood Central. They’re on a collision course with Ritenour on 9/29 and Eureka on 10/6. They beat Mehlville 59-28 this week.
7) Ritenour (6-0) schedule getting tougher and they haven’t done anything wrong yet. They have Lindbergh, Pattonville and Kirkwood left on their schedule. They beat Parkway North 56-49 this week.
8) Kirkwood (4-1) loss to Pattonville two weeks ago. They won a one quarter game with Parkway North last week and had a bye this week.
9) Hazelwood Central (5-1) only loss is to #6) Lindbergh 43-26. They have outscored their opponents 143-8 since the loss. They beat McCluer 53-0 this week.
10) Fort Zumwalt West (4-2) losses to #4) Eureka and #5) Fort Zumwalt North. They beat Francis Howell 27-20 this week.
Small Schools:
1) Trinity (5-0) they finally scored against them this week. They outscored their opponents 248-6 which included a forfeit to DuBourg. They beat Lutheran-St. Charles 67-6 this week.
2) Lutheran North (6-0) they outscored their opponents 365-81. They have some weapons and will be undefeated at the end of year. Lamar or Trinity on their horizon. They beat Lutheran South 50-12 this week.
3) Highland (5-0) beat a very good and undefeated Triad team this week by a 28-13 score. They have some big school wins in Belleville East and Alton.
4) Alton Marquette (5-0) beat Mater Dei on their home field by a 18-0 tally. They have outscored their opponents 169-27. They beat Pawnee Il (0-5) 56-6 this week.
5) McCluer South/Berkeley (6-0) they haven’t played anybody but 28 points is their closest game. They have outscored their opponent 246-34 and beat Normandy 56-18 this week.
6) Althoff (4-1) loss to Centralia last week 21-14. They have wins against Mater Dei and Helias. They have a collision course with Cahokia on 10/13.
7) Cardinal Ritter (5-1) only loss to #1) Trinity 57-0. They have two good wins against Soldan and Lutheran- St. Charles. They beat Ottowa Marquette 48-21 this week.
8) Borgia (6-0) beat an undefeated St. Mary’s two weeks ago . They haven’t allowed more than 14 points in any game. They beat O’Fallon Christian 38-7 last week.
9) MICDS (4-2) they have two losses against two undefeated teams. They beat John Burroughs 52-0 this week.
10) St. Mary’s (5-1) lost to #8) Borgia 37-7 two weeks ago. They beat DuBourg 65-22 last week. They play Cardinal Ritter 10/13
