2017 St. Louis Metro High School Football
Large Schools:
1) East St. Louis (2-1) just beat Edwardsville 32-7 and their only loss was to a out of state powerhouse
2) CBC (3-1) had a tough schedule so far and lost to CBC (Memphis),has soundly beaten the local teams.
3) Vianney (4-0) soundly beat a tough Battle team and beat the Pattonville team that beat the very tough Kirkwood team
4) Kirkwood (3-1) was beaten last week by Pattonville (41-35) . They did beat Chaminade and Jefferson City. They could of dropped further.
5) Eureka (4-0) has outscored their opponents by a 144-46 tally and has Francis Howell and Fort Zumwalt West and Pattonville as the teams they’ve beaten.
6) Fort Zumwalt North (4-0) weaker schedule lands them at #6. They did beat a better than average Fort Zumwalt West team
7) Parkway North (3-1) after a loss in the opener to Parkway Central and has outscored their opponents 140-48
8) Lindbergh (4-0) beat Jackson and Hazelwood Central. They havent done anything wrong yet
9) Ritenour (4-0) beat the previously unbeaten Webster Groves (29-26) in last and out scored the other 3 opponents by a 155-50
10) Edwardville (0-3) They had toughest schedule in the area but has 3 losses.
Small Schools:
1) Trinity (3-0) outscored their opponents 168-0. They gave Cardinal Ritter their only loss with a 57-0 score.
2) Lutheran North (4-0) played a lot tougher schedule than Trinity. They have outscored their opponents 233-55. They have some weapons.
3) Althoff (3-0) beat a better than average Helias team earlier in the year. They’ve outscored opponents 96-15.
4) McCluer South/Berkley (3-0) they have played teams with a combined record of 2-10 but have outscored them 124-16.
5) Highland (3-0) played two bigger schools in Alton and Belleville East. They have outscored opponents 155-66
6) Cardinal Ritter (3-1) only loss was to #1) Trinity and they beat two teams that have only one loss. (Soldan, Lutheran-St. Charles)
7) Borgia (4-0) gave Pacific their only loss. Union has two losses from Borgia and Pacific. Duchesne has three losses and all the teams are undefeated.
8) St. Mary’s (4-0) teams they have played have a combined record of 5-11 but get a test with Borgia this week.
9) Alton Marquette 3-0 hasn’t played against much but is undefeated and has outscored their opponents 76-21.
10) MICDS (2-2) has been beaten by #2) Lutheran North and an undefeated Park Hills Central team.
