First Quarter Summary:
The game started with the two teams trading baskets with East’s #4) Pickett and Webster Groves’ #34) Ryan Rusan Scoring to make it tied at two with 7:24 left. East scores the next four points with a #3) EnRico Sylvester basket and two free throws by #11) Malachi Smith to make it East 6-2 with 6:47 left. Webster’s #10) Ray Adams hits a three to make it East 6-5 with 6:19 left. East’s #11) Smith hits two free throws to make it East 8-5 with 6:05 left. Webster scores the next three with a basket by #34) Rusan and #11) Cam Potts hitting one for two at the line to tie it at eight with 5:28 left. East’s #4) Pickett scores to make it East 10-8 with 5:18 left. Webster’s #25) Kevin Butler scores to tie the score at ten with 4:54 left. Second Quarter Summary:
Webster Groves starts the second quarter with a 10-0 run. The scoring in the run was #11) Potts had four points which included a dunk and the remaining six were two threes by#10) Ray Adams to make it East 27-25. Belleville East’s #4) Pickett went on a 7-0 run with three baskets and one was a three point play to make it East 34-25 with 4:30 left. Webster answers with a 11-0 run #2) Wright had a three and a free throw and #13) Ramey had two baskets and a three to make it Webster Groves 36-34 with 1:01 left and that was the score at the half. Belleville East didn’t score the last 4:30 of the second quarter. Webster Groves’ #13) Ramey took over in the last two minutes of the half.
Third Quarter Summary:
Belleville East’s #11) Smith ties the score at 36 with a put back basket with 7:45 left. Webster Groves #11) Potts scores a bucket to make it Webster 38-36. East goes on a 7-0 run with #23)  EJ Aldridge with a dunk and #4) Pickett had the next two baskets and one was a three to make it East 43-38 with 5:45 left. Webster’s #13) Ramey hits a basket to make it East 43-40 with 5:35 left. Fourth Quarter Summary:
The fourth quarter started slow with two turnovers and two missed shots before both teams trading baskets twice and the same players scored them Webster’s #13) Ramey and East’s #4) Pickett to make it 60-56 with 4:57 left. East’s #11) Smith hits two free throws and Webster’s #2) Wright hits a basket to make it 62-58 with 2:52 left. Webster’s #13) Ramey hits a three to make it  Webster Groves 65-58 with 1:34 left. Belleville East went on a 7-0 run  with four points by #4) Pickett two free throws and a basket and a three by #11) Smith to tie the score at 65 with 32 seconds left. Webster Groves during the run missed two front parts of one and ones and had a turnover. Webster Groves has the ball with 32 seconds left they give it to #13) Ramey and clear the middle. #13) Ramey makes a move and hits an open 14 footer at the buzzer for the win. The final score Webster Groves 67-65.
Game Summary:
Belleville East started off fast with a 27-15 lead after the first quarter and #4) Javon Pickett scored 17 of them.
The second quarter Webster Groves made up ten points in the first in less than three minutes. Then Webster Groves’ #13) Ramey took over in the last 2:27 of the quarter and scored seven points of a 10-0 run to make Webster Groves lead at halftime 36-34. Belleville East didn’t score the last 4:30 of the quarter.
 The third quarter was a game of runs with a 7-0 run by Belleville East early in the quarter to get a seven point lead. Webster Groves finished off the quarter with a 9-0 run to make the Webster Groves lead four points at the end of the third 57-54.
The fourth quarter was basically a match between Webster Groves #13) Ramey and Belleville East’s #4) Pickett. Webster Groves was up seven with 1:34 left but Belleville East answered with a 7-0 run to tie the game at 65. Webster Groves’ #13) Ramey took the ball and wouldn’t let it go into overtime.
Belleville East’s #4) Javon Pickett was made the MVP of the game with 40 points and 10 boards. Webster Groves’ coach Jay Blossom “We will let him have the MVP and we will take the win.”
