First Quarter Summary:
Fort Zumwalt West started the game with a 6-0 run with #23) Josh White scoring four points.St. Charles West didn’t score their first basket till 4:23 left when #10) Trent Champagne hit a three to make it Fort Zumwalt West 6-3. Fort Zumwalt answered with a three of their own by #2) Jake Hampton to make it 9-3 with 4:07 left. St. Charles West finished off the quarter with two baskets to Zumwalt West’s one to make the score at the end of the first Zumwalt West 11-7.
Second Quarter Summary:
Zumwalt West started the second quarter with a 9-0 run to take the lead 20-7.St. Charles West didn’t score till 3:53 left in the half it was a layup by #31) Tommie Whitney to make it Zumwalt West 20-9. They traded baskets but St. Charles West was a three to make the score at the break Zumwalt West 22-12.
Third Quarter Summary:
Zumwalt West started the third quarter just like the second with a 9-0 run to make it Zumwalt West 31-12. Zumwalt West’s #2) Jake Hampton had a three and a three point play in the run.  St. Charles West for the third quarter in a row didn’t score their first basket till mid quarter. #2) Clark Henderson hit a three with 3:55 left in the quarter. The score was Zumwalt West 31-15. Zumwalt West’s #34) John Chestnut hit a three and a basket with a St.Charles West #5) RJ Harris basket in the middle to make it Zumwalt West 36-17 with 2:04 left. They traded free throws and St. Charles West’s #10) Trent Champagne hit a three quarter court shot at the buzzer to make the score after three Fort Zumwalt West 37-21.
Fourth Quarter Summary:
The Warriors started the quarter with a basket by Josh Anderson in the first 20 seconds of the quarter but didn’t score again to 4:25 left in the game. Fort Zumwalt West scored a basket in the middle to make the score Zumwalt West 39-27. Then Zumwalt West went on a 4-0 run to be leading 43-27 with 3:26 left in the game. St. Charles west’s #2) Clark Henderson hit a three with 2:52 left to get the lead down to 13. Zumwalt West answered with a 7-0 run to get the lead to 20 (50-30) with 1:08 left. Zumwalt West’s #5) Marquis Majors had four of the seven of the points in the run. St. Charles West’s #21) Matthew Frazier finished off the scoring to make the final score Fort Zumwalt West 50-32.
Game Summary:
Fort Zumwalt West led start to finish . They started the first three quarters with big runs and St. Charles West couldn’t recover. They were the best team today.
St. Charles West is missing a go to guy this year. They couldn’t score until mid quarter in the first three quarters. #10) Tent Champagne had a bad shooting night and #31) Tommie Whitney couldn’t finish and that cant happen for this team to have a chance to win.
